Terms + Conditions
Last updated: 19 August 2026
This policy is designed to be fair in both directions. Please read it before booking.
1. About These Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of honestudios.com.au and your engagement of any service provided by HONE Studios Pty Ltd ("HONE", "we", "us", "our") at Salon Lane, Studio 12 & 13, 63 Ann Street, Surry Hills NSW 2010 + Suite 604, Level 6, 28 Spring Street, Bondi Junction NSW 2022, or remotely.
By using our website, making a booking, or attending an appointment, you agree to these terms, our Booking & Cancellation Policy, Risk + Recovery, and our Privacy Policy, which together form the agreement between us. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
2. Eligibility
Our services are available to people aged 18 and over. We do not treat anyone under 18 for cosmetic procedures and we do not advertise or market our services to minors. You must have the legal capacity to consent to treatment and to enter into this agreement.
3. Your Use Of This Website
Information only. The content on this website is general information about our services. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation, and it is not a substitute for a consultation with a qualified practitioner. Nothing on this site should be relied on to make a decision about your health. Always seek advice from a registered health practitioner.
No practitioner–client relationship. Using this website does not create a clinical relationship between you and HONE or any of our practitioners. That relationship begins only when you attend a consultation and we accept you as a client.
Intellectual property. All content on this website including the HONE name, word mark, brand mark, copy, photography, video, design and layout is owned by or licensed to HONE and protected by Australian and international copyright and trade mark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially exploit any of it without our prior written permission.
Acceptable use. You must not use this website unlawfully, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, introduce malicious code, or interfere with its operation.
Availability. We aim to keep the site available and accurate but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or remove content at any time without notice.
4. Bookings, Deposits + Cancellations
All bookings are governed by our Booking + Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these terms.
In summary: a $50 redeemable deposit is required to secure every appointment, and is forfeited if you cancel, reschedule or fail to attend with less than 24 hours' notice. Please read the full policy before booking.
5. Consultation, Suitability + Consent
Every new client attends a consultation before treatment. Depending on the service, this may be in person or by video - never by text or email alone.
You must disclose fully. You are responsible for giving us complete and accurate information about your medical history, medications, allergies, prior treatments and any change to your health between appointments. Non-disclosure can cause serious harm and may void our liability to the extent permitted by law.
Informed consent. Before any treatment you will receive information about the procedure, its risks and possible complications, realistic recovery timeframes, alternatives, expected discomfort and cost. You will be asked to sign a written consent form. You may ask questions at any point and may withdraw consent at any time before treatment begins.
We may decline treatment. Our practitioners exercise independent clinical judgement and may decline or discontinue treatment where it is not clinically appropriate, safe or in your interests - including where you have not disclosed relevant information, are pregnant or breastfeeding, present with a contraindication, appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or where your expectations of the outcome are not achievable. Clinical safety takes priority over a booked appointment. Where we decline treatment for clinical reasons at your first appointment, your deposit will be refunded or credited.
Prescription medicines. Some treatments involve Schedule 4 prescription medicines. These require a valid prescription from an authorised prescriber following an appropriate consultation. Under Australian law we cannot advertise these medicines by name or brand, and we cannot supply them without a prescription.
6. Results
Aesthetic, wellness and longevity outcomes vary between individuals. Results depend on your physiology, age, skin condition, health, lifestyle, adherence to aftercare and factors outside anyone's control. Please review our Risks + Recovery Policy for more information.
We do not guarantee any specific result. Any indication of expected outcome, duration or number of sessions is an estimate based on clinical experience, not a promise. Some clients require additional sessions. Some do not respond as anticipated.
Every treatment carries risk, including risks of swelling, bruising, infection, asymmetry, and rarely serious complications. These will be explained to you before treatment.
7. Pricing + Payment
Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise. We may change prices at any time. The price quoted to you at the time of booking or consultation is the price that applies to that appointment.
Payment is due in full at the conclusion of your appointment unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept the payment methods displayed in studio and in our booking system. Card surcharges may apply and will be disclosed before payment.
Where the final treatment plan differs from the booked service - for example additional product is required, we will discuss and confirm the revised cost with you before proceeding.
Unpaid accounts may be referred for collection, and reasonable recovery costs may be added.
8. Treatment Packs + Prepaid Packages
Treatment packs and prepaid packages are offered at a discount to single-session pricing, in exchange for commitment and payment upfront.
Payment. Packs are paid in full at purchase unless a payment plan is agreed in writing.
Validity. Packs are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Unused sessions expire at the end of that period and are not refundable or extendable, except where required by the Australian Consumer Law or where we agree in writing to an extension on compassionate or medical grounds.
Named client only. Packs are non-transferable and may only be used by the person who purchased them.
Not redeemable for cash. Packs cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
Bookings. Pack sessions are subject to our standard Booking & Cancellation Policy. A session cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed, is deducted from your pack.
Suitability. Purchasing a pack does not guarantee suitability for every session. If you become clinically unsuitable to continue, we will refund or credit the unused balance at the pro-rata single-session rate.
Change of mind. We do not refund packs for change of mind. Where we agree to a refund at our discretion, sessions already used are charged at the full single-session rate and the balance is refunded.
9. Gift Vouchers
You can purchase vouchers via our Get Timely account here.
Gift vouchers are valid for three years from the date of purchase, in line with Australian law.
Vouchers are redeemable for services and products at either HONE studio and may be transferred to another person, unless issued as a named promotional voucher.
Vouchers are not redeemable for cash and no change is given. Any unused balance remains on the voucher until expiry.
Where the value of your treatment exceeds the voucher, the difference is payable at the appointment.
Lost or stolen vouchers are not replaced.
Appointments booked with a voucher are subject to our Booking & Cancellation Policy, including the deposit requirement.
Promotional or bonus vouchers issued at no charge may carry a shorter validity period, which will be stated on the voucher.
Voucher holders must still meet all eligibility and clinical suitability requirements. A voucher does not entitle you to a treatment that is not clinically appropriate for you.
10. Peptide, Telehealth + Prescribed Programs
Our peptide and longevity programs are delivered remotely, end to end, by HONE.
How it works. You begin with a wellness consultation to discuss your goals and complete a pre-consultation health questionnaire. You then attend a Telehealth consultation with one of our doctors. Where the doctor determines treatment is clinically appropriate, a prescription is issued, and your medication is compounded and dispensed by one of our licensed Australian compounding pharmacy partners and shipped directly to you.
Clinical independence. Our doctors are registered medical practitioners who exercise their own independent clinical judgement. HONE does not direct clinical decisions, and a consultation does not guarantee that a prescription will be issued. If your doctor determines that treatment is not appropriate for you, that decision is final.
Compounding and dispensing. HONE does not compound or dispense medication. That is carried out by licensed compounding pharmacies operating under their own regulatory obligations. We work with several pharmacies and will direct your prescription to whichever is appropriate for your formulation.
Fees and refunds. Consultation fees cover the doctor's time and clinical assessment. They are not refundable where a prescription is not issued, because the service, the consultation, has been provided. Medication that has been compounded, dispensed or shipped cannot be returned or refunded, for safety and regulatory reasons.
Your responsibilities. You must provide accurate and complete medical information, use medication only as prescribed, store it as directed, never share it with anyone else, and report any side effect or adverse reaction to us promptly. In an emergency, contact your GP or call 000.
Advertising restrictions. Australian law restricts what we may publish about prescription medicines. Detailed product information is provided only within a clinical consultation.
11. Products Purchased At HONE
Retail and cosmeceutical products may be returned unopened and unused within 14 days of purchase with proof of purchase, for exchange or credit.
We cannot accept returns of opened products for hygiene reasons, except where the product is faulty or your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply. Prescription medicines and compounded products cannot be returned once dispensed.
12. Aftercare + Your Responsibilities
You will receive aftercare instructions specific to your treatment. Following them is essential to your result and your safety.
You agree to:
Follow all pre-treatment and aftercare instructions.
Attend any recommended review appointment.
Tell us promptly about any adverse reaction, unexpected symptom or concern.
Tell us about any change to your health, medication or pregnancy status before each appointment
Not seek treatment of the same area elsewhere within the recommended interval without telling us
We are not responsible for outcomes affected by failure to follow aftercare instructions or by treatment performed elsewhere.
13. Complaints + Feedback
If you are unhappy with any aspect of your experience, tell us. Please email us at admin@honestudios.com.au or speak to any member of our team.
We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days and work with you to resolve it. If a treatment has not delivered as expected, we will review it with your practitioner and discuss the options available.
Nothing in these terms, and nothing in any agreement, settlement or non-disclosure arrangement prevents you from making a complaint to AHPRA, the NSW Health Care Complaints Commission, the Therapeutic Goods Administration or any other regulator.
14. Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Among other things, you are entitled to a remedy if a service is not provided with due care and skill, or is not fit for a purpose we told you it was fit for.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those guarantees or any other right you have under law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to clause 14:
We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, special or economic loss arising from your use of our website, services or products.
Our total liability to you for any claim is limited, at our option, to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having the service resupplied.
We are not liable for outcomes caused by your failure to disclose relevant health information, your failure to follow pre-treatment or aftercare instructions, or treatment performed by another provider.
We are not liable for the acts or omissions of independent third-party prescribers, pharmacies or delivery providers.
Nothing in this clause limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, where such limitation is not permitted by law.
16. Privacy
Your personal and health information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at honestudios.com.au.
17. Changes To These Terms
We may update these terms at any time. The version published on our website at the time of your booking is the version that applies to that booking. Continued use of our website or services after changes are published constitutes acceptance.
18. General
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
Severability. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply.
Entire agreement. These terms, together with the Booking & Cancellation Policy, Privacy Policy, Risks + Recovery, and any treatment-specific consent form you sign, constitute the entire agreement between us.
